Semi-Professional 1.15

Bobby plays with a trash can at the murder scene; Carver’s amazed at seeing the eccentric detective in action. B always walks his lady friends to the door. Goren cracks a smile about tuna salad on rye. BA likes late bloomers.

BA have some laughs with Jimmy Deakins and his friend at a steakhouse. Goren has his hand on the back of Alex’s chair before they get down to business. Everybody drinks.

Goren arrests a guy with one hand and plays Chinese chess with the other: Your move. He learned in China.

BA are very together. Goren leans on his hand in a restaurant and looks cute while Alex reads to him: You underline the dirty parts?
Goren and Carver fight like little boys on the playground. Eames raises her hand and slickly resolves the situation. Goren and Carver kiss and make up while Alex puts on the heat.

Clothes Call: the judge’s fun suspenders

Quotable:
[to Eames as he watches Goren play with a trash can by himself]
Carver: Is his investigative style always this sociable?

E: Emily Trudeau’s greatest hits?
G: [nods] “Free Speech and the Fair Use Doctrines: The First Amendment and Encryption Software.”
E: Stop it, you’re making me hot.

E: What do they call that?
G: Ah, Gentleman’s C’s.

E: [to Goren] A history of violence. Sounds like a distinguishing feature of the semi-professional hitman. I only look like I’m not paying attention to you.
